4) Cut Chemist “The Audience is Listening”

There's a cool Cut Chemist remix on Percee P's Throwback Rap Attack single, but the actual song is an original version, dating back to the '80s. imo, it sounds better than the upgrade. I'm curious about Cut Chemist. What's that album like?

Wow...you have eclectic tastes...I've only heard 2 of the records you dig!

The Cut Chemist record is smooth. I would describe as subtle in that it grows on you with each listen. It's also a record that I find requires individual attention in that if you throw it on in a crowd,it will go unnoticed. But at home alone,it's brilliant, lots of break beats and super clever dubs....don't know if you heard Danger Mouses "The Mouse and the Mask" but I might say they were similar.....

Heh, thanks. Ahh, k. It sounds interesting. I'm gonna give it a shot sometime. I have heard that Danger Mouse, but it's been awhile, and I forgot how it was exactly.

I wondered why DJ Shadow has one song that is named "Why HipHop Suck in 96".Since beginning to listen more old school hiphop I started to feel the huge differences between the "new" and "old skool".I don't know that sucks.I can't feel the passion and the rhythm and shit.I love the old skool flows maan.

I listen to The Eraser more, it's really cool. Kind of glitchy sounding, very atmospheric at the same time.

I've been meaning to get Christ Illusion. Isn't it fast, because of their old drummer coming back?

yeah it's quicker than most of the songs on diabolus/god hate us all.
it's kinda confusing though...

favourite song off the album is probably the first track 'flesh storm'. i'd recommend it as a sample of the album.
