Oddly enough, this is a town near me in Scotland.

It's full of eastern europeans, the Russian mob runs the drugs and a most of the little ethnic shops seem to be fronts for brothels. It's all very exciting. :rolleyes:

Ahah! I thought my local LIDL being a den of eniquety (sp?) was local to my town only! The place is bombed out with fucked up bums drinking booze and shady looking foreign chaps in Mercedes.

Its not that the drinks all that cheap - it's reasonably priced but no more so than any other supermarket??

I've been to France a few times... Only the South Coast seemed even remotely "classy". They have poor hygeine levels....

They opened a big new Lidl in Dundee recently and when I go past on the bus you can almost see the booze-hounds being caught in it's gravitational pull...

I dunno, when I lived in Louisiana, all the old fogeys drank Busch and drove pick-ups. When they'd finish a beer, they'd chuck the can through the little back window into the bed of the truck and recycle them to buy more Busch. It was like an endless cycle.
