Yeah, the rap threads are a tad disproportionate now. Not only that, but we have like, what... six Nas threads or something?

Back when there were 600 Green Day threads talking about "American Idiot" and we yelled at them to make it all one thread, well... the same discretion has to be done here.

Anytime I start a rock/non-rap thread that shit just sinks to bottom of the page within an hour or so. Unless it's a Beatles or Clash or Zeppelin or Stones thread. In other words there's very little motivation to bother.

I'm sorry mickill, you do have alot of knowlege on music. As a matter of fact, I've followed alot of hip-hop guidance and have yet to be dissapointed.

I should follow you more when it comes to rock, right?

try: dead meadow, bardo pond, the black angels, detroit cobras, black mountain, boris, soledad bros., atomic bitchwax, black rebel motorcycle club, comets on fire, the warlocks, pink mountaintops, supergrass, brian jonestown massacre, radio birdman, spiritualized, black keys, the datsuns, and acid mothers temple.

i'm really impressed with spiritualized, dead meadow, bardo pond, comets on fire, radio birdman, the datsuns, and the black angels. dead meadow are a great cross between sabbath and floyd. for psychedelia, go with bardo pond, the warlocks, black angels, pink mountaintops, brian jonestown massacre, and acid mothers temple. spiritualized (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuxE8hMd_Gc) are an amazing combination of psychedelia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp7wh6TS55U), blues, gospel and rock. the warlocks (http://www.myvideodaily.com/clip.php?c=M1674) keep getting better as well.

I'm digging those alot. I also checked out spiritualised. Excellent stuff.
