No, this isn't bragging rights. This tread is kinda like the radio. You want to give a shout out like the radio? Do it here.
First of all, let me tell you about my wife. She was raised in a Changchun China. It's got some kind of western influence but not as great as Shanghai or Beijing.
She always wanted to speak english so, she came to the states in 1992. I met her while I was in high school and fell in love with her.
She stayed in the states for 1ears and she left in 1993 due to her visa.
I then was depressed. I grew up in a small town and I really loved her and thought I had no way of getting back to her besides writing and such.
I went into a deep addiction to cocaine, thanks to some friends that thought this would clear my pain.
After noticing that I've acquired a really bad addiction to coke, I've decided to join the army.
I went through basic training. Of course I had to lie to them, I had such a bad addiction that I needed to do something so that I didn't get any deeper.
During basic, I called my wife and told her that I'm gonna be there. She didn't believe me and she refused most of my calls afterwards.
I then thought that I could never find a woman like her and married some lady (who was mexican another one of my weeknesses). That lady and I have had a beautiflul girl. Well, that lady was drawing me into debt.. I.E. forging my signature onto checks. Pretty bad stuff.
After that, I claimed for a divorce. My ex already had 3 kids and with her doing what she did, it was hard for me to raise my daughter.
I then moved to the mid east to make more money. I met my wife again, online and sent her a pm. She was so happy to see me again. She was doing nothing but teaching english and learning.
I then told her about me living in the Mid-East and being single again and she asked if she could be of company for me. I told her yeah, but, it will be a long ride.
She then decided to live with me. She tried to find some jobs but, it's a rough life for her. Being asian and a FEMALE at that, makes the life so much diffucult.
She has lived in an area where things have been very "difficult" and almost tapped out. I even wrote a thread about it, some of you can probably remember. It was a very hard time but, she stuck it in.
She's now found a great job here in Ny. She's a journalist for a local newspaper here in NY which can be read in both Chinese or English .
Damn I love my wife, now it's time to brag about your s.o..

I met my husband after hiring his sister to babysit for me. I was a single mother of three having just gotten out of a BAD relationship, I was just focusing on my kids and their well being. Well this 20 year old dude was skinny and funny. I was 28. His sister tryed to get me to go out with him because his then girlfriend was a gold-digger. I of course told her no he was too young.
Well after a rocky relationship I wasn't ready for I went on a mad party ride. He was sitting at his other sisters house one night, I was having her watch the kids for me, and he looked forlorn. So I asked him to go out with me. He said sure, why not.
We have been together since that night six years ago November, we have been married for six years in January. Hey there are benifits to younger men. I love him beyond belief, he has shown me how to live to the fullest.
No matter how much weight I gain or many wrinkles I get, he makes me feel like the sexiest most beautiful woman in the world.
I love you Brad.

I met my girlfriend 12th December 2000. she was in New Zealand on a working holiday, working on a horse farm. She came out with us that night and since I have a lot of contact with Germany/Germans, we hung out for most of the night. We walked home together and I tried to kiss her, she refused saying she had a boyfriend back home. Then I said something really stupid, but something we joke about now, "then why did I hang out with you the whole night?!"
She didn't think this was nice, but I quickly apologised. We saw each other again two weeks later over New Years. I was really drunk and on acid so I was having a good time and then she decides to make it better by coming on to me and totally making out with me. that was cool. so then we spent the night in the tent together, but I was so drunk, sun burnt and off my face on LSD that I was in no state to take things any further. thankfully, she was content just to hang out. after the holiday we hung out more and she came to live with me in March of 2001. it's now December 2006 and we still live together. she's an amazingly smart scientist type person, who got straight A's studying Conservation Biology in her second language here in NZ. sometimes she nags me too much, but that's mostly cause I'm bone idle and I like winding her up.
she's really nice and her name is Helga which makes me laugh.

I should be making my way there soon. My mom goes there often to visit her god mother.
Why didn't I move to Florida? I'm freezing my ass off.
