what are you talking about? you don't have to write the address anywhere. before you stick the stamp on the envelope, say in loud, clear words where the destination is. and then just stick it in the mailbox. the mailguy will know where it goes. sheesh.

damn i'm not the only 14 year-old who doesn't exactly know where the adresses go, i asked 2 of my friends of the same age & they didn't exactly know eithier, & i have mailed stuff before but it was a long time ago

btw i mailed it today, this gets even more embarrasing when i couldn't find the slot to drop the letter in on the mailbox :( *cries*

my 8 year old just learned how to mail a letter like 2 months ago. which made her 7 at the time. so, i guess that's about right that it has to be doubled for california.
