i made an absolutely PHENOMENAL breakfast yesterday for everyone in my flat. phenomenal.

unsmoked bacon, toulouse sausages, pork sausages, fried egg, mushrooms, potato scone, toast and a fabulous new type of heinz baked beans with added worcestershire sauce! oh, and of course loads of tea and orange juice.
i am the cooked breakfast QUEEN. haven't done it in ages. i took pictures to revive the what's for tea (or breakfast) thread but my hob looked really, really dirty and i didn't want to embarass myself.

but it was a great start to a rainy day staying inside drinking whisky and coke playing zelda (y)

Jeez, you served up a veritable meat market there. I have to check out the Woo'ster Sauce again, I faintly remember it being good. Anyway, as a continental, I must distance myself from greasefast from the isle...

i wish i was drinking jd and coke, just relaxing with a film or something. unfortunately, i have no jd, one bottle of diet coke, and no films i havn't already watched. plus i have to go outt soon.

oh well.

can you make me a cooked breakfast please?

just another round of tea and oatcakes will do.

otis, it's not as if we have cooked breakfasts every day. it's just an occasional thing. and in particular a little-bit-hungover-after-too-much-wii-ing sunday thing. it's great! meat is great. we were going to go out and get some black pudding too since i was talking about it last week but it was raining and i had already sent ranald out to get some emergency BROON SAUCE (that legendary board condiment!) and didn't want him to slog all the way out again for some blood pudding.

the beans are great though, try 'em.

normally i don't, either, but it was a special wii-weekend and i really just wanted to drink lots of tea, then alcohol, have a cooked breakfast, play zelda, order a curry, eat curry, more alcohol, wii tennis and then fall asleep. oh i wanted to successfully send cosmo and steger a picture of us all too but that didn't work out. maybe this afternoon though oooohhh! ranald had also spent the whole of the previous evening cleaning our kitchen and cooking me sausages and mash so i thought i should do something for him.

most days i'll just get a toasted bagel or croissant for breakfast on the way to work to keep me going. i know i should make the extra, oooh, 5 minutes to sit down and have a bowl of cereal but i can't be arsed. lazy maclaze.

They're great live, although they sound more like an indie band, rather than the indie/grime sonics that the myspace tracks vibe.

Oh and the girl on the keys is very cute

staffordshire oatcakes are sort of like pancakes (what you would have with syrup) but more savoury and more, well.. oaty.

normal oatcakes are indeed the oaty hard biscuit-type things you normally serve with cheese at dinner parties or something.

i know someone (i can't remember who.. oh, no i can. my old flatmate annie) who would never consider moving to australia because of the creepy crawliez. i don't live with her anymore.

Maybe we could make Tasmanian Devil hamburgers, but I suppose we don't have many left nowadays.

they make the celebrities eat witchetty grubs in i'm a celebrity get me out of here! you share a level of experience along with david gest and jordan! high five!

yes. we have animals. lolz.

bats are really common, and i think bats are quite ghetto. they are always falling down people's chimneys (this is more in the highlands btw) and invading your living room. ranald told me this happened at a friend of his when they were all stoned beyond belief and he just couldn't cope with all the girls screaming and the flying fucking BAT in his face so he just left the house and went to sit in his car. haha.

also, seals are cool. we have lots of seals. and dolphins and basking sharks and stuff like that. i've seen a full-on proper whale, too. it was washed up on a beach at home though and died :( woops.

squirrels. lots of squirrels. although mostly grey shitty ones (my boyfriend calls them "rats with pretty tails") because they killed all the red ones.

wolves were rampant here, and infact the last wolf in britain was killed in scotland (in 1743).

they're nothing compared to proper sharks that will EAT YOU as soon as you step on the beach and tasmanian devils though.

Yeah, I can empathise with ranald, I ran away from a bat once. It was in a cave, and I wasn't for long.

Squirrels sound cool. I like the idea of squirrels.

Tasmania also has giant squid.

giant squid! COOL. omg, i totally missed planet earth last night! i'm sure they were filming some giant squid or something crazy. it was an 'ocean deep' topic. FUCK. my favourite.

i can't imagine living in a place where there are no squirrels! how bizarre. i feed them nuts all the time. i'm like the crazy circus laydee.

i heard that kangaroos are meant to be really stinky. like, hella whiffy. is this true?

I'm going on a total wii mission in the morning. By hook or by crook I will get a wii in the next few days. Even if I have to swim to the mainland. I want to beat susan at wii tennis.

- waking up when I feel like and not having to be anywhere
- being in a very large, soft shirt or robe
- a tall glass of water, a tall glass of apple juice, scrambled eggs (with lots of pepper, some salt, and please throw some tapatio or crystal on there, crystal is a hot sauce from Louisiana fyi), bacon, and some fresh fruit: strawberries, watermelon slice, cantaloupe slice, and grapes. Maybe throw in a small side of home fries or hash browns but I usually can't fit that much food in me.

Usually this only occurs on the weekend, sans step 2 since I usually go out somewhere for it so I have to put on some normal clothing.

- a clean break on the shitter
- a #6 with a coke from Wendy's
- a good sweat from something physical
- being one of the first to hit some fresh powder
- holding onto the controller while the other one has made it around the room at least one full time
- swimming on mushrooms
