I have no idea how well/not well Food and Liquor did but I find it hilarious that he's already talking about a follow-up and even funnier to me is who he claims to want to pursue as a collaborator.

"Fiasco knows the prospect of getting the legendary British rockers to sign off on such an idea is remote, but that isn't stopping him from pressing forward."

He's got a long way to go.

He played Halifax Nova Scotia within the same year as his release. That's got to tell you something. Guns and Roses played there for the first time month or so later.

Case closed.

I doubt he'll be able to get Pink Floyd on a track but if he does I'm sure it will be interesting to say the least.

I've never really listened to Pink Floyd so it would be cool for me to hear them on a hip-hop song (y)

do you have an explanation for this theory that doesn't involve simply your own opinion vs. mine? Or did you post it just to experience that wonderful rush you get knowing you've "burned" someone on the internet?

I like you Pad, you know that. But this combination of words is the most annoying shit to read. Just saying.

I think ya'll give Pink Floyd too much credit. No ones checking for them anymore and they havent done anything worth a shit since The Final Cut which was basically just a Roger Waters solo album. Remember when they played together a few years back and it was big news for about ten minutes and everyone stopped caring? Yeah, if his label has a big enough check at least one of those old loons will do it.

Sorry but Lupe Fiasco is relatively big shit in hip-hop right now. It's not about trying to "burn" people, it's a fact.

Lupe is good, all this hatin' and shit when people used to like him. The dude got spits, even if the shit he spits about might be corny sometimes, doesnt mean he is the gayest rapper of all time or deserves the amount of ahte that he is recieving. People need to fuckin chill its hating on rappers like Lupe (who arent the worst of all time and actually do try to make semi-throughtful lyrics) that is keepin hip-hop ignorant to white america.

Yea I said it and I mean it. Also I dont have his LP (I plan to get it but let this boards hate of him make me heistate) but I do like his lyrics...even though Pressure with Jigga was a big let down and might have shut some hatas up if it came out fire like a Black Republican.

I recommend you get it G, probably one of my top five LPs this year. Some of the production is a bit bland but the lyrics are about 90% on point, which is about as good as you're going to find in the mainstream these days. (y)

Lupe is good. You can call him juvenile, or a swagger jacker, but his shit is very listenable.
