(i think there was a thread like this a while back, but eh)

what's so great about where you live?

this weekend, while visiting MOCA i was a tourist for a split second and just had to snap this. i'd actually never seen it so close before. turned out surprisingly well.

maxi taxi's

well we always catch it from one of our (my boys) house's, or even my own, which is in noranda/morley. that's $15-20 to northbridge/city. then onto kwinana fwy; exit at south street; all the way down that then right onto whatever the road is called.

usually ends up at around 70-80.
where bouts were you again, around maylands, right?

i've never caught a ferry there - always gone on whatever boat my family has owned. varies on the weather/seas as well... could be anything from 10 mins to 30. not far at all. you can see it from the coast.

nono i moved :D i'm in mosman park now. right near north freo. its windy here.
also they charge a bit more if you have more than 2 people in a taxi.

ferry to rotto is about 45 mins from memory
icy you can see it from the beach, its pretty close. although garden island is closer so if you come to perth and look out over the ocean, its the far away island.

Tzar
12-15-2006, 06:12 AM
yeah there's usually like... 8 or 10 of us in a taxi. freo is a road-trip so we need as many blokes as possible to pitch in.
