how much have you spent on holiday gifts? are you finished? still shopping? still need to? did you budget for it?
I wasn't planning on getting things since I was going to save some cash but then when everyone started getting stuff for me I freaked and then I get excited getting gifts for people and I went nuts :/
Going nuts for me means around $250 bucks though. Somewhere around there.

I'm about halfway done.
I estimate that when I'm totally done, I will have spent around $300. Paying my credit card bill in a week is gonna be pretty interesting.

me and bef set limits of $300 for each other.
her parents are capped at $50 each x 4
i capped the kids at $150 each but they already got $130 worth of stuff. (and there's NOTHING left to buy them)
i have no idea what to get my mom. some such thing in the $150-200 range.
i'm thinking all said and done it'll come in at about $900-$1000 total.
seems pretty typical.

I'm all done now with my shopping and i've definitely cut back this year - just can't afford the bumper christmas presents now we have Ava.
I used to spend about £300 on my hubby. I've bought him a Wii this year and thats it.
We haven't gone overboard on presents for Ava. She is only 7 months old and would probably rather play with the wrapping paper.

I charged about $500 bucks on my card for gifts. I got just about everyone coverd with that. I'm getting an xmas bonus in a day or two for $500 and so I'll be able to pay it right back to my credit card:cool:
however, i would have liked to use some of my bonus for a new tattoo. oh well. better to be generous I guess.

i dont think i have to worry about spending a whole lot since i'm still in the poor college student bracket
but my parents, and even myself yreally, don't really care about all that stuff. so i'm usually trying to find stuff that my parents will appreciate because they would have never gotten it for themselves

Haven't bought a single present and ain't gonna do that either... Some of the positive sides of being single and not having a close family....
I think I might get myself a gigolo for Christmas tho, just got my taxmoney back, and I've never had that much money on my bankaccount before...
