So I'm not a "omg expensive shoes" person. I like shoes sure, but I like em affordable. Or I like bright colored sneaks.

Anyway. It's really frustrating when I find a really great pair of heels and they only last me around a month or two. I don't know how I did it, but bottom part of the shoe right near where the toes start... is COMPLETELY broken. I'm so pissed. I love these shoes. I need to buy another pair. They are the only black strappy pair that I can walk in :( (or maybe not, since they are broken ahaha ugh)

And I really hate that I'm pissed about these shoes being broken.

I booked a NYE party at one of our venues and I busted my ass to get this group because it's a ton of money and I get a % of all the groups I book...Well, I may have to make an appearance at this said party and I had plans to head to NYC for NYE and I dont know what to do! GAH!

I can go to NYC but I would NOT get the commission. what to do, what to do. It's more about the experiece than the money to me, NYE is overrated I guess, but it is important to me who I spend it with.

The party is very high end ...so the commission is really high and it would be really stupid of me to forefit it BUT...the reality of it is, I'd go, make sure everything is ok with my client, stay an hour and be home at 9pm all dressed with no where to go. (like in that scene in the movie Stella when no one comes to the daughters bday party and she is all sad in her poofy pink dress) so I really dont care at this point, I just dont want to be here with all my friends and their nerdy BFs having pot luck dinners out in Lsile. <----really lame suburb.

I woke up to a thawed freezer this morning. water in the ice trays. everything warmish. GAHHHHH!

My trustworthy Creative Zen Touch has had a problem with it's headphone jack for a while. The problem was that the headphone plug didn't make any contact unless I held te plug into place. Now, I had to push this plug back with more and more power for it to work, and today I got so frustrated by not having any music, that I snapped the headphone plug.
Menaing that I don't have any music at all now and I've busted a very expensive set of headphones which had a far better sound than any of the old earplug things I used to have.

Oh yeah, also I have a bit of a crush on a colleague of mine, because he's hot, is artsy and just a cool dood, BUT he's 7 years older than me, He's had a girlfriend for a gazillion years (they've just bought a house together!) and otherwise he's too cool to be interested in me in that way anyway.
Oh and we had a work-party-dinner thing last and there were like 25 seats and ofcourse he had to be the one sitting next to me and I tried not to look at him too much because he might suspect things , but we did drink together and made fun of people and I like him even more now, which is a bitch because I'll be all distracted when I see him at work next week.
