I didn't really wanna post this here, because it's a harsh, harsh crowd and I'm sure I'll get slammed, but fuck it, I'm kinda drunk.
I fuck around with acoustic guitar and have posted some cover songs on another forum before and some people enjoyed them. Not claiming to do this for anything other than some weekend funny. Anyway, I heard Nena's 99 red balloons and decided to do an acoustic cover of it today.
I used:
Audacity 1.3 Beta (free recording software for the PC)
Takamine acoustic guitar
$10 Radioshack desktop computer mic
Plastic toy mic belonging to my 3 year old for vocal distortion
and
a Casio keyboard for accompaniment and some percussion.
It's a fun song and I've liked it since I was a kid. Hopefully some of you give it a listen and don't hate the fuck out of it.
