since the wii also plays Lamecube games and I never bought a Lamecube, I am considering cleaning up on the bargain ass games that have been released for it. Any suggestions/recommendations? I ordered Mario Fart off ebay, and Smash Bros I will get.

HAHA! In my desperation at not getting a Wii, I bought a GameCube on Sunday. :o
I also bought Lego Star Wars II and I'm going out to get Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess today.

Ya beat me to it. In fact, didn't they remake series 1-3 for the "lamecube"?
I'm just half tempted to buy one just to see the touched up graphics.

Timesplitters: Future Perfect and Burnout 2: Point of Impact are good. Shame about the cheesy sub-titles.

I've not read the whole thread but just get Resident Evil 4 for it already. I think Mario Kart DD on the gamecube is pretty shit to be honest.

Wow, this thread has made me realise the Gamecube only has about 5 good games. That sucks.

Sad but true. :( Well, I'd say it has a lot of good games, just a few great ones.

Practically impossible unless you pay a lot on ebay I think.
It was really limited in the UK with special editions of "Wind Waker". It had Majora's Mask and another one on it too.

Smash Brothers
LoZ: Wind Waker
Mario Kart Double Dash
Tales of Symphonia (spelling?)
Star Wars: Rogue Leader
Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door
That should keep you busy.

I don't think NLOL is gonna want to play a game about monkeys playing with balls.

i got the collector's edition zelda with ALL the zeldas on it (ALL. i mean all. marjora's mask, the 80s ones, OoT, you name it). cost about £25 bucks on ebay. easy peasy! they're around if you want them. there's normally a few auctions going about for 'em.
RESIDENT EVIL 4. It's one of the best games for the system.
F-Zero GX. I played it as much as I did MArio Kart DD if not more. This bitch should have been online.
Eternal Darkness was good for it's time. Nowadays the story is the main reason to play it.
Mario Tennis if you like the N64 version.
Mario Golf plays just like Hot Shots Golf. I love that game.
Tales of Symphonia is a pretty good RPG. It's got a multiplayer option for battles.
The Mario Party games are pretty good.
You might want to avoid SNK vs Capcom 2 EO. It's on other systems and it's a lot easier to control.

Yeah I miss Zelda too. I really really wanted to buy a TV so I could play Twilight Princess over the holidays, but I just can't afford it. :( Maybe in the spring.

so, you'd spend $400 on a bong, but not $150 on a 20" tv?

Metroid people. Metroid.
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
(y)
You may enjoy Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, and Baten Kaitos Origins. (the prequel) They're RPGs, with a battle system using cards. The graphics and character designs are interesting. Both games were a joint venture by developers tri-Crescendo and Monolith Soft. (Xenosaga) Also, notable mentions go out to Skies of Arcadia Legends, a port of the classic Dreamcast RPG, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, a fun strategy RPG.

You've once again confused me with someone else. Go back and read that thread again.
