i'm quite impressed you managed to eat those things!

oh, and if "oh jah eh, fawking schweet eh" is meant to be canadian, then i'd hasten to add that in a scots accent would sound very dingwall-ian/inverness area. where the manfriend and flatmates are from (y) respect!

i just remember how freakin clean it is. i have never seen such a clean city (though boston is kinda almost like that too).

Dr Deaf
12-20-2006, 10:34 AM
wow. what year was this? i'm assuming you weren't in china town or living there during the big garbage strike. awful.

i thought nyc was wickedly clean when i visted. like theme park clean for real.

oh it was 92. a long long time ago. i dont remember chinatown. i remember the horseshoe shaped public transportation system. and i lived in north york, i think.

new york is DIRRRTY. they try to keep it clean, but it's not... pristine. the cleanest parts, of course, are the touristy places. midtown is unusually clean considering the number of people trashing it constantly.

BEACHCOMBERS!!!!! and dont flatter me, you are as canadian as The Littlest Hobo (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f3/Thelittlesthobo.jpg)

and yeah, the flapjack shots are actually pretty nice, you have to make sure the syrup is warmish so that itll flow out of the glass at a decent pace, regardless its basically like you are shooting straight vodka and then chasing it with ze syrup!

True.

MAYBE SOME DAY! I'd imagine that if I get accepted as a citizen in the future, they'd have some sort of initiation where I'd be forced to do keg-stands with Labatt Blue or something.

I'm so Canadian that:

I eat, sleep and breathe hockey.
I have a closet full of hockey jerseys.
My favorite hockey team is the Leafs (no matter how hopeless they are).
Labatt's Brewery is in my hometown.

I could keep going, but I won't. :)
