Complete mix 'n' match

I just was corious if anybody has done a mix with gliching and studdering witht the vocals, and used pella's from several different B,boys pella sound pool we have? Im thinking Im gonna make one see where it goes.

I once had the idea to cut the accapella track in pieces in recycle (software). I thought I could then quantize the rhymes on other grooves and tempos. I spent about an hour to cut the words in single syllables. then I realized that you can only open a rex-file with 60 samples and not 600. damn.

I think I tried to do that at one point too, but no love. It also really muck's with the sound (makes it all choppy n' shit). What I usually do is open it in Audacity and just use the "change tempo" feature. All you need to know is the original tempo and your target tempo. Sounds a LOT better than trying to make it work in recycle.

I don't think it's what you're looking for but I kinda did that on my "Super Disco Grasshopper Move". Used vocals from 3 different tracks. Not very choppy/stuttery though. Check it out at beastiemixes.com (link in my sig).
