This year, the b/f and I are going to Vegas. We have reservations at Nobu at the Hard Rock Hotel for a late dinner and will be sharing the evening with alruggs and her b/f. I'm sure an additional cast of characters will be added.

I always work Hogmanay, I'll take on a well paid agency nightshift in some shitty hosptial as neds and students just love to injure themselves and throw up in waiting rooms and fight with security.

Then I'll go home and knock on the door early in the morning and give my husband coal, as is the first footing tradition. But not much, as it's heavy and dirty and it's generally his job to get it in.

Baltimore's inner harbor with Brett! 7 of us will be getting a hotel room there (it's actually a double suite with 4 beds). We'll probably go to Little Italy for dinner, then go bar hopping and then watch fireworks at midnight and drunkenly stumble back to our room sometime early in the morning.

NYE will be huge. First I am going to dj 90s music for an hour 10-11 in the retro room at a nightclub, then I am going to see cut copy (first live show in almost a year!) and the midnight juggernauts play 11pm-3:30am, then I am djing more 90s music 3:30am-6am or whenever it closes, then I am going to summadayze at about 11am-11pm to see the juggernauts, tocadisco, axwell, switch, trentemoller, mylo and basement jaxx. Then NY day night I will pass out at my place with all my friends who are coming back here except the ones that are going to a secret party to demolish a nightclub that closes down NYE.

I'm going to spend my newyearseve with my ex-stalker. My very weird and pushy ex colleague. Yeah, he kept asking me if I would come and wouldnt take no for an answer. But then I also heard my colleague/superior/good friend is going as well and I cant let her spend Newyears just with him.
Anyhoo, there's gonna be lots of booze and 'oliebollen', so I'll amuse myself.
There were also plans to go out to the local gigplace, as this ex-stalker is into 'rock' music all of a sudden and wants to dance to the tunes of the Arctic Monkeys and Evanescence.

i usually go to my good friend's family's new years party. always a good assortment of people our age. last year i got hammered and waaaaay too friendly with someone i met there. i feel bad because even though she was playing along, i feel like i was somewhat disrespectful to her and maybe anyone who overheard us... if they did, im sure they havent forgotten. thats one of the bad parts of drinking + horniness - tunnel vision/perception. not good. im not sure im going there this year

No plans as yet. Might go out in Hoxton to see some bands and Alan from The Rakes is doing a DJ set. Might not bother doing anything.

A few of years ago me and three friends stayed in and had the world's smallest party. They dressed as clowns - complete with wigs, massive shoes and trousers with the big hoop. It was quite surreal :)

i have too many options.

1. house party in a conveniently located suburb. good friends from high school. see them all the time. live near my parents, so i can crash there if i don't feel like getting PT home.

2. house party in the same suburb. mexican theme. good friends from clubbing/the internet. more interesting than the high school friends party.

3. house party midway between said convenient suburb and my place. will be the most "cranking" party, and my best friend will be there, but i won't know many other people, and every single guy at that party has a crush on my best friend, so i get a bit bored of watching guys hit on her.

4. i have a ticket to pendulum at belvoir. belvoir is really far away, and none of my close friends are going. however its going to be an awesome event. on the plus side, if i decide not to go to this, due to the demand for tickets i can sell it at double the price i paid for it.
