Shane Warne is Australia. An arrogant, unpopular, cashed-up ignoramus who chases pussy and parties hard. I like how hated he is. He's my favourite Aussie, and would easily get an invite to a barbie.

The thing that frightens him the most is "hair loss". What an ignoramus.

Of all the things in the world to be scared of, he chooses something vain. He is obviously too brainless to be scared of being killed by some poor girls father after he rapes her in a drunken fury.

He probably will, but how old is he? how many years does he have left?

I can't be arsed looking. Also, I couldn't type his name into google that easily.

hahaha, why do you think i only spelt his first name and not his last. him and warne started playing the same year, but now that he knows warne is retiring i'm sure he'll stick around to beat his record. i know muti has played alot less test matches tho

I think Shane Warnes great. Amazing bowler and - unlike a lot of sportsmen - stacks of personality.

He'll be missed.

cricket's equivalent of micheal jordan. arguably the best bowler of all time. not the best player of all time. that honour goes to Bradman. any pommy git that says otherwise has his head up his ass

ohhh

off topic but a thought just came to me its weird how michael jordan's name is a sign of greatness "he's the michael jordan of bowling" "he's the michael jordan of blah blah" etc

well, i dont know much about baseball but i'm guessing it's the equivalent of the mother land's cricket. it's a long relaxing sport that doesn't exert alot of energy. from what i've heard Babe Ruth had a ridiculously good record, much better than anyone elses. he's cricket's equivalent of Don Bradman. Shane Warne is the equivalent of the best pitcher of all time. and after the ashes (longest battle in the history of cricket, aus vs england) he is retiring. pretty big loss considering we dont have any other great spin bowlers. serious, we dont, Stuart Macgill is a useless twat,

ps, we flogged the shit out of the poms this ashes. but in respect they did put up a good fight

I do enjoy cricket but not being English means I'm pretty neutral, I just like a good match. It's been funny though after they won the ashes over here the media banged on about "the great Ashes summer" for months...

..this time? Barely a peep apart from the build up to it.

the great thing about cricket is that every nation has the potential to win. it just seems that australia collapses less than any other nation. the english side could've won the third test in perth, but they got unlucky. i really dont think the australian team is that great now, but when i first started following cricket i thought those players were the best we've ever had. anyone new that comes along is no where near as great. i still under rate ricky ponting even tho i'm certain he'll beat Brian Lara's record for most runs ever scored.

btw, i met Brian Lara last year. he'll a really good bloke. i'd love to go to the carribean and play some cricket with the locals
