rome is a good city eh. i took my pics with a canon ixus 65.

venus! so glad you recognized- was wondering if anyone would...rome is an amazing city. so much history. i got to spend 6 months there as a student a few years back. i just could not get over it, i never saw anything so ancient and beautiful...made me really realize what the word romantic means, where it came from. i fell in love with that city, and i cannot wait to return some day. the sunrise over the forum, the sunset from villa bourghese. i miss it so much.

when did you go!? the pantheon dome looks immaculate! look at how water stained mine was!
that structure at palatine hill...i wonder what that was. i spent about three days sketching that thing, trying to picture what on earth it could have been. the scale of their architecture blows me away. and its all brick and stone, so massive!
i heard that all the big fountains, like the trevi, the ones in navonna, and the one outside the pantheon are all still fed by the same aqueducts built thousands of years ago. if thats true, that is pretty fucking cool.

I didn't have a digital camera when I was in Rome and I don't have a scanner at the mo, but I've got the awesomest pic of some graffiti on a subway there; some purple stars! :D My class mates wanted copies of if cause it reminded them of me! :D

i noticed it straight away. yes, i loved rome too! i only went for a weekend but i definitely want to go back there some time. i do have more pix, but i don't have time to put them up now. some time in the new year :)
