Why don't you have an option for Irish pubs and Swedish food?
For all love of allmighty don't eat Irish!!!
and actually I think Chinese would be better than Swedish, incase they're just serving herring and meatballs...

well, because the southside is far away and not near the swedish food.
I think actually swedish is out because my christmas co-adventurer is a vegetarian and the dinner is filled with meats.

Irish pub and snacks from white hen.
and a serious get-to-know-you and all your fucked up childhood trauma stories and now we're best friends business.
none of the irishmen were actually from ireland. well, if they were, we were too busy talking about our mothers to notice. I'm sure I would've heard an accent though, I have radar for that. hottt.
there's still time to go to the goth club, who's in?

so if i were to go to the east coast for christmas/new years next year, howwww long would it be to travel to chicago for new years eve? lolz.
nah, i know it'd be too far. but you should come to deh east coast for new years if i do end up going.. now that would be a christmas adventure fo sho!
p.s bgrrlie, what exactly is wrong with irish food? it's great. lots of potato-y and stew-y goodness. it's fabulous. apart from oysters. i have guinness and oysters in dublin and they did not agree with me.

err, stew is like, horrible.
Potatoes are good though. Really good. A potato is a magical adventure all by itself.

No! (n) Ewww.
I had bad childhood experiences of stew and casserole. So obviously noone else should be allowed to consume them.

when i think of the worst kind of stew, i think of stew with eww fatty beef and TURNIPS (HATE turnips/swede/whatever you call it down your way) and all that jazz.
when i think of the best kind of stew/casserole i think of mmm nice braising steak with ale and mushrooms YUM. steak and ale casserole! come on! i'd get you on my team given the chance, i betcha!
/note to self: next what's for tea? shall be a casserole.

Chunks of grey meat floating in brown bubbly fat. That's what I'm going to dream about as I uncomfortably toss and turn tonight!
Thanks Ireland!

well, you have obviously neither been to a proper irish pub with proper irish food, or ireland itself. because i've been to both and the food is delicious.
they certainly don't serve grey meat in those places. they serve grey meat on the isle of lewis!
