it's boxing day. it's a day off here too.

in scotland they kindly give you the 2nd of january off, which i always thought was incredibly generous. it's like they're expecting the population to have two day hangovers!

my american colleagues (boston and san francisco) say that you americans are incredibly tight with your christmas "holidays". what a shame! :( the university is off for two weeks. TWO WEEKS! so i'm lazing like it's sunday, y'all. i have to finish all the alcohol in the house before my mum's muslim boyfriend gets back :/

well I planned ahead and took vacation the first of next yurr, so after this week I will have nine glorious days off.

We are cheap on vacation. Who can honestly be expected to do work the day after christmas? I want to open red steel and imagine having a wii to put the disc into :cool:

i was working at full ass while i took all the ornaments and lights off the tree and put away the rest of the christmas decorations. normally i would have done it last night, but i didn't feel like it.

i'm now zero assing. i may go play with my kids' stuff, or i'll go out on the porch and smoke and drink a diet coke. it's a tough call.

I remember when I was in college, we got off around December 22nd and went back January 31st. 5-6 weeks! wooo!

But you work there so that's a whole different story. I believe administration only gets 2 weeks off.
