Thinking of giving my PSP away to my nephew - it's gathering dust. :(

It's not so hot. 'Tis true. I had one...got rid of it.

Too many ports.

I pretty much agree, sadly. I'm disgusted in owning a PSP, as Sony has all but abandoned its handheld. It sure looks that way. I'm interested in a handful of games coming out soon, like Gurumin, The Legend of Heroes III: The Song of the Ocean, Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner, and Valhalla Knights. In the future, Jeanne d'Arc and FFVII: Crisis Core will come overseas, hopefully. But yeah, I'm mostly in for it for the RPGs. I'm just generally sad for their PSP. It could've been a better handheld.

You guys haven't been using it properly ;)

ScummVM - Lucasarts adventures (monkey island, sam & max, day of the tentacle)
Neo Geo CD Emu - Windjammers, Metal Slug, Baseball Stars 2, Fatal Fury etc etc
Mega Drive/Genesis emu - All the Sonics, Earthworm Jim etc etc
Nesticle (NES) - All the Mario games, zelda, metroid etc

Movies and series in amazing quality (watched episodes of heroes, house md, bones and others on my flight in and out of the US this month, 100 meg for a 45 minute episode)

Personally I was also blown away by Syphon Filter. Plus games like Virtua Tennis, Mercury, Pursuit Force etc.

I like it but admittedly it wouldn't get used anywhere near as much if it weren't for all the lovely stuff you can do with it that Sony doesn't want you to do with it.

Funny :(

In Ipswich Murder Mystery, if you press SQUARE SQUARE X X SQUARE CIRCLE and then take the batteries out, you get unlimited suspects.

I got to level 5 before the police arrested me and printed my fuzzy webcam pic all over the internet.

I had to restart :(

Too bad. Have you played 'Blank Screen'? I can't get past the first level. It's taken me about six years.

Pffffttt.. I owned that game. Actually I rented it, but you know what I mean.

'Battery Charging' is much tougher, but then again, I wouldn't expect a n00b like you to be up to the challenge

'N00b Like You Challenge 3' is being released Quater 3. I'm fucking pumped. It's faithfull to the originall, I hear, rather than the sequal or the VHS adaptation. :(

I dusted off my PSP, pulled it out of the attic and downloaded some music and photos. I very rarely used the PSP other than to play the occasional game. My wife was having fun with her new I-Pod that I got her for Christmas and bada bing. I thought---hey, I have a PSP somewhere in the attic.
I was thinking of buying a 8 GB memory stick so I can access movies, tv shows, games and music until my heart is content. I like the idea of using it when on plane trips, chilling out or whatever.

Anyway.....my real question is----

Has anyone bought into the PSP Blender membership? It seems to have a good company rating and it is a $37 lifetime membership. I was thinking of going that route for easy downloading of software, shows, movies, music etc. I am thinking of doing this more for the music and media than the games.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

I did some research and found that PSP Blender is a crap site. It sounds like a scam. I was trying to find the best way to download tv shows and movies. I can already put music on it from my wife's i-tune software and photos are no problem. I just wanted an easy way to put a movie or show on the PSP or long trips.

^Apparently that site puts you on some sort of naughty persons list - thats what I was briefly told. It's a total scam though, you can't download anything from it either.

Anyways... I bought hotel dusk yesterday (ds). I love how the characters look like they are from an 'ah-ha' video.

Bit too much dialogue though.
