Ive kind of been thinking a bit about this recently what with Sly Stallone at 60 still making boxing movies (even though I have no interest in seeing it) and G Money Ford living to age 93.

I theorize that the life expectancy of the Baby Boom generation will be late 80s/early 90s. They were raised before McDonalds became a diet staple so most of them arent eating it weekly like younger generations are and they have access to the same healthcare advancements.

Discuss.

True, but I think growing up with said medical advancements may be more beneficial in the long run. I mean, with all the cancer-preventing stuff they know about now that they didn't know about then people can ward off a lot of stuff through diet. But there sure are a lot of fast food advancements too.

I think that the people who are dedicated to maintaining their health in today's day and age will live longer than people of the same mentality who are baby boomers now. But overall, America's getting fatter and will probably die of cholesterol around 65 at the latest.

Everyone will live long enough to enjoy paltry quality of life on their $25.83/month social security benefits.

Pass the cardboard and wet newspapers, please.

thats why us smart young bucks put 10% of our checks into a retirement fund.

life expectancy is going up, but i think quality of life for those last 20+ years is going down. i rather die early and feeling good than being senile and achy breaky at 100.

Life sounds pretty boring by the time you get to 70 or so. But hopefully the future will be really rad and I'll be quite happy living to my expected 110 years old.

i want to get a cane so i can point at things with it and make young people get out of my way. then make them change my diapers. isn't that what being old is all about?

No work. Sleeping in. Slow and lazy sexual encounters. Roll on old age.
