Hey all! It's been a while since I've visited here. Something about the new year always makes me think about NYC so I figured I'd finish off this remix I'd been working on.

Check it out at soundclick (it'll be on Beastiemixes.com soon).

This is the first beat I've done almost entirely with samples...everything except the bass is from my vinyl collection. Also the first time I've made a beat using Ableton Live. I used Reason for the drums and bass. Hope you like it... let me know what you think.

Thanks man! I don't know when you made the changes but the site is looking good! Keep up the goodness!

Thanks! It's funny.. I just grabbed a record and looked at both sides, thought... "track 2"... and dropped the needle right on that "ain't no women like the one I got." part. I personally think I'm going to re-do the scratching part. It just feels a little rough in spots. Also I think it plays one too many times in the beginning.

Thanks again to both of you for checking it out and of course, happy new year!

Updated!

Changed the scratches around a bit. I think I like this one a bit better. Enjoy! It should be current on soundclick. Uploaded to bm as well. Take your time silence... enjoy your (I hope!) day off.
