Awhile back I picked up a copy of the punk magazine Loud Fast Rules (Fall/Winter 2006 issue), and was reading an interview that Chris Bade did with John Joseph (who appeared on the Cro-Mags "Age of Quarrel" LP).

In the article Joseph says "I started writing a movie in 1990. It's about a drug adventure I went through. I got serious about writing it 7 years ago when I started studying with Robert McKee, the famous Hollywood screenwriting teacher. I also have a punk rock comedy that I'm talkig to Adam Yauch about directing it. Adam is writing the forward of my book."

Anyway, this was the first I had heard about it and wanted to share it with you all.

I haven't been around here in a LONG time, so I'm not going to dig thru old threads... but it may be of some interest to you guys... Yauch also played some gigs with John Bloodclot and the Fearless Vampire Killers a couple years back

That is interesting. I didn't know Yauch played with the Fearless Vampire Killers. That interview in Loud Fast Rules, had a few words about John Joseph's involvement in that group...it went on to say that Mackie Jayson was in the group too. For those that don't know the significance, Mackie Jayson was the drummer for the band Frontline. For more about Frontline see http://www.beastiemania.com/whois/frontline/

I remember seeing Yauch play once on CBGB's webcam.
