I think it will be shit. But the recent seasons have improved a little.

I've seen two trailers for it now and both have confirmed for me that the Simpsons has completely lost the touch of subtle, biting, poignant humour it used to have and has been reduced to the same level of empty, worthless pandering to stupidity that defines the vast majority of popular culture in this day and age.

Fairly well put. It's less comedy, and more jokes.
