Jane's Addiction.

I've just listened to them for the first time in a few years. I put on Nothing's Shocking while I was doing the washing up.

I was quite into Jane's Addiction as a teenager but I've come to the conclusion that they were rather crap. I've been lucky enough to see them live when they played at Brixton Academy in 2003 and it was a good gig but their stuff on record is very dated.

What are they up to now? I bought Strays (their last LP, as far as I'm aware) when it was first released and it wasn't very good. Is Dave Navarro still boning Carmen Electra?

Hell yeah, Janes was a good band. Nothing's Shocking is still one of my favorite CD's. Ritual is also a very good c.d. but, no matter how many times they remade Been Caught Stealing, I couldn't get into it.

I bought Strays but only listened to it a whole 2 times so, I can't really put a judgment on it.

Perry was a damn talented man and even Pono for Pyros was a decent band.

I hated the Chili Peppers with Navarro but, his solo c.d. was worth the buy.

Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra split up this year.

But yeah, Jane's were good. Didn't listen to the "new" stuff, but doesn't sound worthwhile.

I recently saw Perry's new band Satellite Party perform at this tiny club. Honestly, I didn't really get into Strays... but this stuff he's got cookin now sounds pretty good. I wonder when Satellite Party's album's gonna drop? They played this song called 'awesome' and I liked it. Perry's fo sho one of the coolest dudes out there.

I've been a long time Jane's fan though. Oh and they performed 'mountain song' when I saw him recently... I just about died!

Halloween 2004 (I think it was 04) Janes addiction put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen in the Bay Area. they are fucking rock stars! thier sets and costumes were amazing and over the top. they sounded awesome. I fucking loved that show.(y)

Ritual was a great album minus the Been Caught Steal'n.

I saw them live during the first Lolapalolozaoaalolaa. They rocked while you sucked.
