not to be a pessimist (more of a realist, actually), but such a theory swings both ways. they could (god for bid) be rushing to finish up their contract with capitol in order to go on infinite hiatus (otherwise known as retirement), or at least so that they're not pressured to return to work after a long break if they lose the desire to continue.

I highly doubt they're shooting for a higher budget. At their status they can get probably as much as they need, no question, and if not they can afford to fund it themselves for that matter, if that was the case. Once again, I'm not trying to be a downer, just logical in considering both sides of the coin.

i believe this album will drop in '07.......but i find it hard to believe they're gonna hit the road again since the TT5B tour ended in '05 and after all the shows they've done in '06.......since they've all got families now (except for adrock).......

I'm actually pretty fuckin excited about what it's goin to sound like. Obviously it's going to be very different from TT5B. I just hope it's not a punk rock album, and they continue to rap and do the hip hop shit.

They will probably do an extensive tour in '08 to coincide with the election year, but I can't wait for the new album to drop! I hope it comes out sometime during the summer, thats what their track record has been. Also, for thsoe of you going to the shows in Australia, let us know if they play any new material!

It makes me very happy to read this thread. I haven't even really checked the message boards since like 05 probably, I'm suprised I could still log in. I dunno what to expect from a new album, though. I guess it would probably be harder for them to make a crappy album than a sweet one.

I'm reallly lookin forward to another US tour though. I got Aweomse I fucking shot that for Christmas from my bro and watching it sent chills down my spine. I had so much fun at the show I saw on that tour, really took me back. It was a great experience and I'm glad I got to see the DVD. It had some trippy shit goin on in it too.

I remember it was November 5th when I saw them, so if the album is released anytime this year they'll probably go on tour in the fall again. I can't wait.
