Wow!! Bill Cowher is hanging it up. He is only one of the 2 coaches the Steelers have had in the past 38 years. I am not a Steelers fan but I will miss his big jaw jutting out at opposing players. Sometimes it would stick out so far it would make tackles. Here is to Bill and his iron chin.

i guess his primary drive all these years was to win the big one, and now that his has it, its not there anymore

They are talking like he will continue coaching maybe as early as next year.

ESPN had a Pittsburgh newspaper guy on and he was indicating that he might be interested in the Carolina Panthers job. He has a daughter in Carolina and wants to watch her play BBall.

The problem with opinions is everybody has one.

The Steelers job has to be the best head coaching job in the NFL. 2 coaches in 37 years and an even-keeled owner.

Maybe Cowher should try his hand at the Raiders job to see how good he might be?

I think Mariucci should take the Steelers job.

Since I am a Raiders fan I will welcome Cowher. The chances of him going from the Rooney family to Al Davis' team are slimmer than Nicole Ritchie eating tonight.

I figure he'll take a season off then be back...not sure why he left Pittsburgh though he had it made there. I hate the Steelers but the Rooney's really are great owners
