How long until the board comes up?

I figure it's inevitable. I didn't say too much about it, and neither did the other character. We talked even less about the Beastie Boys, though.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I constantly tell Becky about the great posts I make on here, and force her to read them back to me over the phone.

I wanted to recount my own, but had none. Not even this one.

I talk to Dicklegs on msn all the time and we hardly ever mention this place.

I've never had a for real conversation on the phone or via voice chat with anyone, save one, so if the msn 'conversations' count, then yeah I'd say the board comes up semi-frequently? I don't think I have anyone from the board on my msn list anymore except for Paulina.

When Venus and I met all we did was talk trash about all you peoples. We kept apologizing to my cousin for all the BBMB talk.

Compared stories, shared new ones...

It's kind of boring when you converse with a BBMB person about the board and they refuse to acknowledge it even exists.

No, but I get this a lot...

Them: Hey Mute, this______, damn you're hot! Would you like to have freaky sex with me?

Me: Would I like to? Yes. Will I? No, I'm sorry, I married.

Then they say something, but I can't make it out because they are crying.

Yeah but I was at least glad we could stay friends...

Well it only makes sense...I mean this is our "social circle". There's gossip and romance and drama and all that shit. It would be weird to avoid it?

I remember sitting in some Mexican restaurant in Vegas with alruggs and Psyz and talking about the board and being geeky, but it was fun.

Only board peeps I met was echewta. And we had other non board peeps around so we just talked about echewta's job mostly.

If Heather and my cousin wouln't'a been around though I'd'a prolly talked about the board. I'd'a been all like "So, you know them posts you're always making on the BBMB and everything? The fuck you talkin about in that shit? Half your posts are like quotes from the television or some shit? Cause I don't get you at all."

I'd probably talk nothing but shit about the board and about ya'll. Because IRL, I'm actually an alias to my username here and I could easily cower behind it.

Unless someone wants to talk about tanks of world war two, or sega games, yeah, I'm pretty sure its the BBMB all the way.

I'm not really sure what you're getting at here, but you stopped talking to me too.

When that happens, I'm usually in line for a Beastie Boys concert, so there is some discussion along the lines of OMG they're going to be playing in a few hours and I can't believe I'm here! :) I can do that for a bit, but then I tend to ask a lot of questions about real life things -- I love to meet people from other places. I'm always wanting to know how someone decides to move to a big city and makes a go of it, what school is like in other countries, etc. There have been a few instances where the board is mentioned, but it will take a minute or so out of a much longer conversation. I've found that most of the people I met from the board were interesting and cool people, who were very nice to me even though we have very different backgrounds.

When I've met up with board members while not in line at a concert, it's normal chit chat. Those people were very interesting people and we didn't talk about the board, but in the back of my head I'm sometimes thinking "isn't it freaky to be talking to someone I met on the internet?" I'd rather not talk about Beasties all the time (and I've never met a freaky fan who did), but I sometimes have to spend a little time talking about the Beasties because it's such a treat to meet someone in real life who knows what I'm talking about when I say that I love a particular song or video or something. My friends sure don't get it.
