Many wanna know who done this
Marky Mark and I'm here to move you
Rhymes will groove you
And I'm here to prove to you
That we can party on the positive side
And pump positive vibes
So come along for the ride
Making you feel the rhythm is my occupation
So feel the vibration (y)

I don't think "The Funky Bunch" got the credit they deserved, I mean it couldn't have been all Markie Mark right?

controversial opinion..well, Mr. Mark address's the role of the Funky Bunch in the lyrics of "Good Vibrations" when he raps:
Donnie D's on the back up
Drug free, so put the crack up
No need for speed
I'm the anti D-R-U-G-G-I-E my
Body is healthy
My rhymes make me wealthy
And the Funky Bunch helps me
To bring you a show with no intoxication
Come on feel the vibration
Suggesting that the Funky Bunch were instrumental in stopping Mark from taking drugs before a live show, thus making him clear headed enough to deliver a good performance for "his people". Whether this was in the form of emotional and spiritual support or actual physical restraint is not clear however.

Back when Mark Wahlberg was Marky Mark
This is how we used to make the party start:
We used to mix Hen with Bacardi Dark
And when it kicks in you can hardly talk
And by the sixth gin you gon' probly crawl
And you'll be sick then and you'll probly barf
And my pre-diction is that you gon' probly fall
Either somewhere in the lobby or the hallway wall
And every..things spinning you're beginning to think women are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished
You are now allowed to officially slap bitches

Oh so they were like his AA sponsor buddy type guy? He could call them when he was feeling tempted to drink or get high? I dig it

did you not read the lyrics i posted? maybe you've never heard the pumping early 90's magic that is "good vibrations" or the running-man filled video which accompanyed it. for starters, FEEL THE VIBRATIONS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L8ySh7bmz4)
but in all seriousness, and this is coming from a former eminem fan, if you take marky mark's entire life i'd say he's probably better than both eminem's balls. maybe even his willy too.
boogie nights > everything eminem's ever been involved in.
and we won't even talk about The Departed...

Seems to be the case, the may have even been involved in getting Donnie D clean as well.

Of course I've heard Good Vibrations. Maybe at the time it was OK, but so were AIDS, perms and lycra back then. Now it just seems dated and/or terminal.
Anyway I'm talking about Marky Mark; Mark Wahlberg the actor is alright in my book.

Well, if we're dealing purely with the entity known as Marky Mark, i still think due to the magic of "Good vibrations" he beats eminem. but to put it in context, he beats every musician ever with the possible exception of 2 Live Crew. When i listen to it it transport me back to a simpler time....when house music and hip-hop could live side by side and when people still did the running man. And camera were at jaunty angles....sniff....

You're remembering the good things about the 90's and forgetting things like gay "bad-boy" scowls, open shirts and badly-fitting jeans.
