So, I got sick last week. Wednesday night my throat really started to hurt. Thursday I woke up and it was worse, so bad that I couldn't stand it so I went to see a doc. They gave me penicillin (the strep test was negative but they said it wouldn't hurt) and cough syrup with codeine.
Friday morning I wake up and am delirious with fever. I had to add tylenol to my regime.
The fever and throat hurting finally stopped come Saturday night. Except the lymph nodes around my neck were killing me so I just kept with the tylenol for pain figuring it'd go away.
Sunday afternoon it's SO bad that the pain is not only in my neck but behind my ears, my back, my arms, my joints, etc. So I went back to the doctor and they shot me in the ass with toradol and gave me a valium last night at the doctors and it has only started to wear off within the past 30 minutes.
I still have to take my penicillin just in case and then they gave me prednisone to surpress the immune system (basically telling the lymph nodes to cut it out) and a pill that is vicodin and ibuprofen in one for the pain my lymph nodes are giving me.
I'm not supposed to do anything for the next two days, doctors orders.
I have never been so medicated in my life. The valium and that shot was like, whoaaaa and then I'll be on vicodin and just. Wow. loopy times.
