Y'know, I watched this show last night... and I saw her on there... and I never even put the two together. I barely remember her posting here, but when I read the post that was linked, I remembered reading that.

Odd... overall though, the show was alright. Kind of cool and better than I was expecting and kind of lame and exactly what I was expecting. Entertaining enough to keep me tuning in every week so long as I remember though.

all jokes aside, Ice Ice Baby is a real dirty beat. Had it not had the association of Vanilla Ices toppling career and someone else rapped over it, people would nod their heads without sarcasm when it comes onIt was better as "Under Pressure".

I've got this show TiVo'd. Make sure you people who watch it real-time give me a spoiler alert or something.

I just finished watching a repeat of this show. MC Serch calls his group 3rd Bass a legendary rap group in the intro. I had to give the TV the gas face.

All in all the show is a good reality show which means it mostly sucks but most people crane their neck at a car accident.

yes that pissed me off very much, also Caz said that all the songs that were going to be played were "classic hip hop songs" so i'm expecting to hear some Kurtis Blow or grandmaster flash, treacherous 3, funky 4+1, and instead they play method man & mary j blige (love the song they played but still thats not "classic" imo)

Out of all the songs they played, this one should have been instantly (pardon the unintended pun) recognized. I couldn't believe they all just sat there like idiots.

Some of the people on there have some pretty decent skills though. I still don't think I'd buy any of their CD's or anything, but a coupd of 'em a lot better than some of the other cats I see who call themselves MC's.

Spoiler... kind of (highlight to read): I'm glad they finally kicked Misfit off though. She wasn't really that good and I have no idea what Serch was talking about saying she had style and flow. She was just a pretty face for the show... so good riddance. Too bad Sullee didn't get to "seal the deal" before she was gone. Then again, I don't really know how that would work with John Brown sleeping on the top bunk. That might be a little awkward.

I hate the fact that I watched this show twice and will probably watch it again. It makes me feel so uncomfortable.

I was flipping around and didn't miss the reasoning on how the second team won with their terrible little rap. Was it because the girl from the first group swore?
I honestly think that was the primary factor in the decision. I can't say for sure though... I thought the first group had it, hands down. Caz must've really pushed for Serch to get 'em on the profanity thing though.

I agree totally with Serch when he said the second group's sounded like a bad PSA. It was at least an effort, but they could've done a whole lot better if they had put some thought into it.

The second group DID sound like a bad PSA. It kinda reminded me of that South Park episode where the anti-smoking people came to the school and did terrible beatboxing.

Soullee looks like a combination of Kevin Federline and Frankie J.

Maybe it's me, but I can't help but think that the message of the show is that white people shouldn't rap, ever.

Did anyone watch? Close friends of the last 2 rappers were brought in for a visit. I found it very strange when John Brown's friend came in and he seemed very uncomfortable and embarrassed. The guy was very feminine. John Brown would not even look at him. All I could think of was that John Brown did not want to be outed on VH-1.

With the exception of one episode, I watch the whole series, and if these 10 were the best white rappers in the U.S., then Eminem and the Beasties have not worries about another white rapper knocking them off their thrones.

I personally thought Sully was the best, but he kept fucking up his lines.
