Anyone know the stats for support for the war now? It seems like almost everyday there's a new person saying it's a shit war.

At one point over the Holidays the approval for the Iraq war in the US had dropped to 12% . Withdrawl was at 85%.
Here are the current surge approval ratings. The Gallup Poll (http://www.galluppoll.com/content/?ci=26080)
I'm looking forward to a new step backwards. Each new turn of phrase has been in reverse. First we won with 'Mission Accomplished', then we were winning, then we had a plan to win, then we were making a plan to win, then 'not winning and not losing', and most recently 'surge (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16543049/site/newsweek/)' or as I'm translating it: 'obviously we must invade.'
I think the real picture is coming into focus now, this is a war about something more than just democracy and WMD, it is about stability in an oil rich region. US stability. Some very scary (http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&tab=wn&q=Israel+iran+nuclear+strategy&btnG=Search+News) times ahead. Iran is going to be bantied about like nobody's business the next 30 to 90 days.
