Something about the mobile phone has fascinated me. They used to only serve one purpose back in the day when they weighed like 50 pounds and shit.,

Now I look at mobile phones and I'm in awe at their technology. I've had many times in the desert just doing duty where I wait, and wait and wait. Being that my mobile had interntet capibility, I came here.

i have a V3x and it's an absolute piece of shit. it's getting repaired for the 2nd in 6 months. so i have this gay old motorola complete with love heart chain attachment as a loan phone from the Telstra shop.

the V3x is the first phone i've ever got that wasn't a Nokia, and it's been nothing but trouble. every phone in the future is going to be a Nokia from now on.

i can't upgrade until freakin' august :mad: very angry about that.
it looks sick as fuck but i strongly dislike nokia's user interface and just fannyish fanny things. it just doesn't do simple things i expect from a phone to be intuitive, and the camera is flat out balls. i'm waiting until august to go back to sony ericsson or samsung :/

G3 allows you to make video calls etc.

I hate telstra as much as the next person but their next g network, a first in the world, is AWESOME. over my holidays I was able to borrow my old mans next g phone and laptop, since he works for telstra. wherever i was, even in fairly remote areas, i hooked up my phone to the laptop and surfed the web at faster than adsl2 speeds. it was cooool.

I have had this since it came out in June and prior to that I had the older model. I love Sony Ericsson's and otherwise, would probably only go for a Samsung.

you must have gotten sold a lemon. I've had mine for almost 2 years now and I've got no problems at all. The only complaint I have is that it's not loud. Sometimes my phone rings and I can't even hear it.

yeah it is nowhere near loud enough. i took it in to get fixed last friday and a guy that i used to work with now works at the phone shop and he just laughed when he saw what phone i had. apparantly they've had a huge amount of ppl bringing them in to get fixed. i had my phone only a month when the entire operating system died. and this time the phone doesn't even turn on. plus half the time when ppl call me or my alarm goes off the phone just freezes. there's been quite a few times when i've been late for work thanks to that fucking phone.

yeah it's old 3110, I got a new facia about two years ago. It's got an eye at the back so you'd think it has a camera... :p I got the facia through eBay, it cost 49 pence and they forgot (?) to charge for the postage and I got a code for discount on the next purchase (but I've lost it by now). I've dropped the camera about a million times, but it still works perfectly. I'd need a new facia tho', it's so worn out now. I've done the "jewelry" myself, it had two strings of red and black pearls as well, but they broke.

Had samsungs for a few years till I got this Sony Ericsson W810i in a yearly upgrade about a year back:

I got my upgrade last month, I went for the newer W850i but it's pretty shit compared that one, really "plasticy" and it's like a housebrick.

I sold it for £150. I'm sticking with the W810 for another year, definatley the best phone I've ever owned by a long shot.

I wanted this phone for months. Little did I know it was a piece of shit. You cant transfer mp3s to it, which I guess is ok since it only has 18mbs. It crashes every couple of weeks. It crashes when I try read a text from o2 that tells me when I miss a call. I can miss a call with out it even ringing. It can crash when the alarm goes off (causing me to sleep in). It doesn't store any inbox messages on the phone meaning I can only have, about, 10.

The list of complaints is pretty long. I've been meaning to get a new one, but I don't really know what to go for.
