How funny. I just typed up a "Pizza's here in 50 minutes" post and deleted it because I thought I was being stupid. :o

You probably get better pizza in Chicago than the Round Table Pizza which will deliver to our office building. But it's okay.
Today is:
The New Pepperoni Artisan Pizza.
Authentic. Flavorful. Organic. Incredible.
Welcome to the next level of flavor experience -the new Pepperoni Artisan pizza. A pizza rooted in tradition, with a contemporary fresh and flavorful taste. A classic handcrafted execution of select organic and high quality ingredients from respected producers. Simple in execution yet generous in flavor.
Italian Garlic Supreme
Super Famous. Super Good. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, Roma tomatoes, mushrooms, green onions, and lots of chopped garlic. Baked with a blend of 3 cheeses on our Creamy Garlic Sauce.
and
Gourmet Veggie
Artichoke hearts, zucchini, spinach, Portabella mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, red & green onions, Italian herb seasoning, and lots of chopped garlic. Baked with a blend of 3 cheeses on our Creamy Garlic Sauce.
plus chicken wings. You know.
The evening of my 30th birthday was spent in a pizza/jazz club in London.
Nice!*

I used to go out drinking all night and a little pizza shop had a window open until 4am. It was called Rock Bottom Pizza. It was great pizza but I was always drunk when I got a slice. Judging from the long lines I wasn't the only one that liked the pizza. I got along with a guy named Fred that worked at the window so I used to get them on the slide and not have to wait long.
In the town I grew up, Harrisonburg, Va, there was a little place called Luigi's Pizza run by some hippies. Good stuff.
Pizza does deserve an exclamation point.

I had the BEST pizza last night. Quattro Fromaggi and a big old spinach salad.
Sarky...Caponies on Harlem Ave, if you ever get out that way.

Zelda's Pizza in Sactown is the best pizza I've ever had. Service is usually pretty poor, and you'd cheerfully put up with it for a pesto pie.
Oh, man.

did they have Chanello's there when you lived there? That place had the best fucking pizza. It was the perfect compliment for marijuana, booze, and shrooms.
Chanello's came in after I moved out of town for college. It is still in the 'Burg and I have tried it. It is very good......also a local place called Ciro's Pizza is great.

I was so thinking of getting a pizza tonight, but then I was gonna go out and made a meal myself. Then I had too many glasses of wine with the meal and got too tired (also I slept too little last night) so never made it then. Perhaps I'll get one tomorrow. I wish there was some place to get a gem like this:
Gourmet Veggie
Artichoke hearts, zucchini, spinach, Portabella mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, red & green onions, Italian herb seasoning, and lots of chopped garlic. Baked with a blend of 3 cheeses on our Creamy Garlic Sauce.

i make my own french bread pizzas all the time. olive oil, tomato paste, pineapple, jalepenos, red bell peppers, maybe some artichoke hearts, black olives, mmmm.
one of the best i've ever had was with echewta & tpk at a little place on the boardwalk. whole wheat crust, sun dried tomatoes, spinach...no cheese of course. :)
i haven't found a good pizza place near me. there's one near by run by some guys who are either greek or russian or from somewhere in the middle east, i can't tell, and they make really good sandwiches (and a killer gyro), but the pizza isn't great. yet the place is called "house of pizza", so i don't know
then there's another place that's even worse. i stumbled in there once after having about 30 beers (i started drinking at 2 pm you see), and i bought a whole cheese pizza for myself, but when i got home the cheese had disconnected itself from the pizza and bunched up in the corner of the box (yeah alright, i was drunk, but i wasn't carrying the box THAT poorly), and the sauce tasted like spaghettios. i was wasted and hungry enough to eat a whole pizza and even i could tell then that it was crap
and the crust cut the top of my mouth
this is a pretty sad pizza story but it's all i've got

I've worked in a pizza joint (3 of them, actually). I refused to be a delivery person, though. That shits got to be tough on your car.
The money was crap, but I was never hungry.
