On 60 Minutes Sunday Night - 8pm

BUSH: MY DECISIONS HAVE MADE IRAQ MORE UNSTABLE
Sat Jan 13 2007 13:36:11 ET

The president concedes that his decisions have led to more instability in Iraq. President Bush made the admission in an exclusive interview with Scott Pelley at Camp David yesterday (12), his first interview since addressing the nation about Iraq. It will be broadcast on 60 MINUTES Sunday, Jan. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The "Decider" speaks!!!

So who is placing the pressure on him? The Democratic Congress? The flailing GOP? or the citizens of the United States and the World?

Why would a man so strong in his beliefs (or agenda) become as the repulicons would say...a flipflopper?

Irony of the matter is that he will send more troops in bagdad.....

So he then go on with his incompetence!

I doubt it's that blatant an admission. It's more likely that they are making it sound like that to get teh rahtingz.

^Agreed.

I still find it funny how his speech was basically like "Yeah, I know I messed up by sending all those troops and not having a real plan and I ended up putting a lot of lives in danger, that was really dumb. So to make it all better, I'm sending another 21,500 troops, still with no concrete plan to win, just wishful thinking. We'll figure something out, just like we've been saying the past 4 years. This time we're for serious."

He didn't admit jack shit. He is willing to take responsibility so we don't blame the troops -- not because he made bad decisions. What a guy!

Dont get angry at Bush, he is only a puppet reading speeches.

I don't get the feeling that he's anyone's puppet. He's an extremist who believes that he is smarter than everyone else, and he believes he is doing god's work. It's so much scarier than if he were a puppet.

I thought the 60 Minutes interview was absolutely chilling.

yeah i watched it last night, and i agree. bush really strikes me as an aloof, arrogant, incompetent zealot. bush and his neo-con/christian cabal are so completely out of touch, and are really just waging war for oil, money, the defence industry, and extremist ideology.
