I don't jog but I walk (hard) and bike down at the gym. One of my favourite things to pedal to is Beethoven's 5th. Don't knock it til you try it, mate, it's a very motivating piece, and just the right length for my warm-up.

yeah, i was going to say basement jaxx, too. they are really rather good.

once, i was at the gym sweating it out on the cross trainer and had my ipod on random. i was all like "okay, once a chill song comes on i'll get off.. but if it keeps on pumping out the gym numbers, it means i have to stay" and the bloody thing played oh my gosh, romeo, get me off and kanye's workout plan (!!), daft punk, les rythmes digitales and i was like AAGGHH STOP IT STOP IT WITH THE GYM MUSIC! I WANT TO SIT DOWN GODDAMNIT!

Daft Punk - albums: Homework and Discovery. yup.

side note: it was kind of funny when on the tvs at the gym tonight some medical special came on with interviews with the extremely, extremely obese and people that were having surgery to remove sagging skin after gastric bypass surgery and all that...and all the hanging manboobs, and droopy ankles, and bedsores, and then everyone on the treadmills and ellipticals started doing double-time.

I think the best song from Daft Punk is Da Funk. the video is rad.

personally I stick with ennio morricone along with fatboy slim.
though Mr.Lif's pull your cut remix with DJ Hype is something raw.

Or if she likes the basics stick with MC Hammers
