The other day, the crossword puzzle in the paper had "Pastry" as the clue, and it was a six letter word starting with "q." I thought "quiche? -- nawwwwww, that's not a pastry!" but it turned out to be true.

I don't think that's right.

Is cheesecake a pie?

I need answers.

Course, quiche lorraine is popular here. Can't help you with the cheesecake, though. The english language is a little specific on the pie/cake sector.
