The spyware, or the warnings are rubbish? If norton is warning you, it's probably true. All those sites you visit... I don't know what to do with you.

Orangutangogram?
yeah(y)
get rid of norton and use mcafee instead since it's a lot better. all norton ever did for me was tell me about the viruses i already had on my computer but never really tried to stop me from getting em.

Why for not FREE AVG Anti-virus (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1) and Free Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) of great justice? Also Spybots. (http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10122137.html)

I'm always checking out the free stuff, and I'm currently running:
Antivir antivirus
Spybot Search & Destroy
Spywareblaster
Ad-Aware
Cleanup
Antivir autoupdates every 2 hours, and I make sure I update and run the others as often as possible, although Spywareblaster is always running in the background.
All bases covered, and all for free(y)

I was about to ask yous guys about a good free spyware today!
I changed from Norton to Avast quite a while ago and it is so much better!
I've gotten a bit annoyed about the spywares that I've used tho.
Also I remember Def making a post about surfing quicker with some easy adjustments, but I can't find it cause it was such a long time ago. Anybody copied and saved the instructions?

I don't get pop-ups with avast either, but I get an option to be asked if I want to allow the pop-ups.
i switched to avast (thanks TAL), i haven't been getting any pop-ups or noticing any viruses either. so i'm happy with it so far.
norton was annoying because the main pop-up i'd get was when it wanted me to renew my subscription
FAT CHANCE NORTON, YOU NERD
