my foot hurts. like, a lot. last thursday I wore cowboy boots and the next day my ankle hurt some. I wore tennis shoes the next few days and snow boots with a slight heel on sunday. my ankle hurt some more and then the joint on my foot connecting my pinky toe started hurting. and then the pain got worse and worse.
:(
it still hurts and I don't know what is happening. am I dying?

my shoulders also hurt and my hands are going numb every now and again. seems like my joints are inflamed. I'm so dying. fuck. guess I should get some health insurance or something, before I die of achy body disease.
Your foot and my ovies can enjoy some tea togefa! :(

I'm just wondering if someone knows what it might be or could offer suggestions about what might be good for it.
I don't trust doctors with my feet anyhow. the last time they put a plate and some screws in the other one and didn't give me enough pain medication and I could feel the surgery. also, they put the wrong kind of cast on me at first and fucked my ankle. plus, they never looked at my shin (also injured at the time of the foot breakage), which is numb in spots to this day.
this time it's the unbroken foot that hurts. and I pressed on the bones and stuff, felt no pain. it's the tendons and what not. I should cut it off.

notice i didn't say doctor i said physiotherapist
i twisted my ankle really badly a few years ago. it got better - sort of, but after a day of walking around or whatever would swell up and ache.
so i went to the physio, and they used an ultrasound on it. not sure exactly what it does but it gets down into the ankle and works its magic
after two sessions of the ultrasound, my ankle was as good as new.
if you refuse to see a doctorb, all i can tell you is don't wear high heels, don't wear cowboy boots or snow shoes or whatever.
REST your ankle every night, propped up on a pillow (for the blood flow) and maybe even ice it for 20 mins every night.
is there any swelling?

there's a little swelling. and actually, I have an ultrasound machine from my broken foot. maybe I should try it. my foot feels a lot better today though.
it's not so much the ankle that hurts though, the ankle only hurt for a day.

Sarky honey, we're from the midwest. They are gym shoes, not tennis shoes.

I've had a weird ache under my left heel the last six months or so. It sort of feels like the bone wants to go through right in the middle of the heel. Sometimes I have to walk on toes cause it aches so much. Wish I could still walk on high heels...
I'm going to see a doctor next week, more for other reasons, but I'm gonna bring that up as well.
