Or actually, thanks a bunch to my friend Mark.
We were both at a party last saturday and ofcourse he had to post me a message about me smoking, which my sister has read, and now she wants to smack me for it.
Hypocrite. She smokes 3 packs a day, I don't even get to 1 a month!

I hope she keeps her mouth shut, because if my parents (both ex-smokers) find out I will probably get a beating or at least the 'we're not mad, we're just very disappointed' speech.

This is just ridiculous. I'm 21 years old for fucks sake. I should be able to self-destruct without comments!

so if your sis smokes 3 packs a day and you presume she is going to tattle like a little bish - how come you dont beat her to the punch?

Just delete the comment.
That's what I do with annoying/too close for comfort/spam ones.

Well, she's already read the comment, so there's no point deleting it anymore.

@ Ericka:
My parents know my sis smokes, But I've always been the 'good girl'. They've always seen me as the smarter and more responsible one, which is in many cases true. So anytime I do something 'normal' people do, they act like I've let them down.
Same when they found out I drink beer. They shake their heads and say 'oh, we thought you were smarter than that...'

Well, my sis probably won't tell though, but it's annoying that she knows.

meh.

this is a very bad situation...but anyway even if you're seen as the smarter one and stuff you're always in time for BLACKMAILIN' HER.... I guess that you know a secret (of anykind) about her that's very embarrassing or stuff so...if she try to tattle about it...well do the same thing! Just blackmail her and then let her decide about what to do! I think this is the best solution in this cases (luckly I never had to worrie about this things with my sister because the most of the times we were makin' things together :D)

You're 21, is your Mum really going to "beat you down"? Just "fess up" and start on 10 a day from here on in.

You should see my mothers hands. They're huge! She can give massive beatings.

Ok, not that she ever has, but she could.
But I'm not gonna fess up to anything. I only smoke at parties, that doesn't make me a real smoker. Does it?
A real smoker starts to get paranoid when there isnt a ciggy in sight, has stinky clothes and yellow fingers.

I got lots of friends who are "social" or "weekend" smokers. I wouldnt worry about it - anything in moderation does you no harm.

awe don't worry. part of growing up is learning that you're going to disapoint your parents eventually, no matter what. so do what you wanna do.

Well, I've tried growing a penis so I could stick it in as many people as possible, but just willpower doesn't seem to do the trick. :(

You are right. But I am woman, therefor I complain.
I know all will be fine. But I tried to keep up my good girl image untill this summer, when I'll be off to university and probably fail my first year because I have many years of partying to catch up to.

Do you 'experienced' people have any advice for a partyn00b like myself?

I can help you with that as well as establishing your bad girl image....
