Yeah, its bad for them in large quantities, mine get a small slice once every couple of days or so and seem to be fine with that.

I'm not sure about the age of pygmy rabbits. I would assume its a little shorter of a lifespan than an average rabbit, but not sure. Average bunny lifespan its somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-10 years if they are altered and well cared for with proper diet and living indoors.

I get home yesterday from a long days work and run in to grab Ana to take her out. It's pitch black and I start taking her through the field. Before you know it, she's pounced on something and I pull up my giant-ass spotlight (2 million candlelight, baby!) and see a fucking skunk and Ana just sitting next to it, in shock. It takes off after I scream at it and Ana starts rolling around in the grass and stinks to high heaven! I spent the next few hours cleaning and she still smells...
To top it off, she has lost her favorite coat (which took the brunt of the smell):

After doing some googling, I found that if you mix hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, liquid soap and some warm warm, it gets rid of the smell.
It did the trick for the most part. I can't get around her eyes and nose :sad:

It also said that tomato juice just masks the smell for the people around the dog but if someone new walked in, they could smell it. She's happy now, as if nothing happened, though. :grin:

we like to keep his hair short, except for winter we let it grow so he looks a little scraggly right now. he's very lazy and mopes around the house a lot, but he's not always like that like the pictures make it look like, but that's the only time he's calm enough so i can take a clear picture. i've taken video of him but he just barks a lot and runs away from the camera :p

my dog isn't really cool around people (that aren't me, my mom or my dad). he's better than he used to be, but if you try to pet him...well, don't ever try to pet him! he's pretty much stopped humping strangers' legs though. i think. sometimes he'll find a pillow or something around the house to get his pleasures still. so i won't touch a pillow that i find on the ground :rolleyes:

Holy Crap. MY Black CAT ALSO DISAPPEARED IN MID SEPTEMBER!!!!!:( it was Sept 10th to be exact. Do you think they went to some secret underground black cat convention in Geneva???? Unfortunately my roommates use to let my cat out even though I didn't want them to. so she became and indoor/outdoor cat. and after that there was no keeping her in. she loved being outside but always stayed close to home. I'm glad you guys kept them both. You never know, two of my bunnies fought all the time, they hated each other for three years! Would not eat at the same time other one was, only one could hang with the third bunny at a time. But about two months ago I went in their room and found them cuddling. :confused: but :D

well she is a chihuahua. only about 2 lbs right now at about 12 weeks old. we haven't been taking her too many places yet cause she doesn't have all her shots. but she's off to the vet tomorrow for more of her vacinations and then I beleive we can take her out more to play with other dogs and things. she's pretty scrappy for such a small thing but I'm not sure if it's going to be difficult to find other puppies that aren't 10 times her size for her to play with.

what you heard about was the Modela or something like that. it's a soft spot on thier head where the bones of the skull didn't quite grow together yet (just like in human babies). many of of the chihuahuas have them...some do not.

Thankfully our puppy does not have one. (y)

My cat Porter had a stroke and had to be put down. He was 14 and had a good life. I will miss good old Porter. We wrote messages and I traced my son's hand on the coffin.

Milli and Her two brothers lived with me for 3 years, they started dying off one by one over the next 6 months or so. Great pets, very quiet.

I used to also keep crickets in the house because I love the way they sound at night. I had a terrarium that started out with about 15, and I had to start letting them go every once in a while because there got to be too many, eventually I let them all go.

Last but not least, is Pipi the Wonder Bird, I've had her for about 5 years now, we're pretty much hooked together at the shoulder, I look like a pirate walking around the house. She's the only pet I have left.
