Why does my dog always lick his paws? It's been going on for some time. He gets his tung all over the couch, blankets everything.

ok undies, your dog is a golden retriever right? how old is it? you have to keep touching your dog's tail area so it will get used to it. if you are using a metal comb, the teeth might be irritating the skin.
what is called a "slicker brush" is quite good for a thick coat like that. also there is a brush out there called the "furminator" i believe. it will instantly get rid of the excess shedding. as for the tail sensitivity, the only thing i can suggest is just start touching the tail more often so it gets used to it.

jackrock, dogs lick their paws for many reasons. the most common, however, is irritation between the pads caused by grass seeds getting embedded in there. a couple of times a week, feel around your dogs feet (not just the outer bit, like right in between the pads) and make sure there are no grass seeds or any other irritations. if you see redness or what looks like a rash, there are many creams and ointments you can use. but i find cornflour is really good for reducing irritation.

weez, feed your bear the people you dislike. it will fill his tummy up so he will no longer thirst for the blood of undeserving victims.

hurrm. you coouullld contact a family member and tell them that you are afraid that he is an alcoholic and he needs an intervention. that might scare him out of his behaviour.

certain breeds are commonly delivered by c-section (bulldog type breeds) because they have large heads in proportion to their bodies. pugs share some bulldog-like characteristics, but not as exaggerated. i really can't say what the best option would be - it would very much depend on the dog, and the size of the litter.
a lot of dogs get eye boogers, just clean them off with a wet wipe as soon as you see them, and don't let them get encrusted. that is when redness and infection start. and while you're there, make sure you clean the folds on her face - they get really dirty and start to really stink. make sure you get right down in there and get all the gunk out.

Why are cocker spaniels practically allergic to themselves? I mean, my dog gets tumors and anal problems and mouth infections and it's pretty gross. We get him surgeries and all of that, but is there any way to prevent this crap? I mean, the vet's esspensive.

yeah, they're prone to quite a few problems. most of them come from their ears that are all floppy and get all gross and infected inside. they are reknowned for needing more medical attention than most other breeds,
unfortunately, the only way to prevent it is to actually breed out the problems. most of them are inborn things that are caused by some genetic defect. since the cocker spaniel is such a popular breed, there is high demand for them and therefore backyard breeders want to cash in. that's where you end up with doggies with problems.

well, pet turtles are omnivores, so it doesn't rule them out eating meat, but cannibals? man

hmm. maybe the warmness feels good around the cat privates area. or, maybe it's early peeing experiences were on warm towels or something that feels similar and they see that as the peeing area now. they're into habit.

i was surprised, and pissed when it happened. the worse thing was that my mom took the big one away, and "released" it into the wild cause she was scared of it (it escaped from the tank the night of the meal. it had done that once before, and showed back up a couple weeks later in the kitchen), thinking it would take of her finger. man was i pissed when she told me that.

no dog is ugly!
just like with people, a dog's beauty comes from their personality!

When I was 5 we had one, and I gave it dirt to eat. It was a little puppy one, and my little buddy. So one day it's in its basket, dead as fuck with all this congealed shit around the eyes. I held it for a bit, but didn't know what to do because I thought I killed him by feeding him dirt. I waited about 10 minutes to get my Mum.

We got another one a couple of years after, and he was much tougher.

cats are particularly harder to train than dogs. what you can do is put paper down all over the floor of your room so your cat will pee on it, then gradually reduce it day by day until it is right next to the litter box. you basically have to get him used to a routine, and doing his business in a certain area.
apart from that, i don't actually know much about cat behaviour.

TurdBerglar

usually the momma cat teaches teh kittens

and when cats piss in a certain room they just think the room is the "outside" you gotta make the cat think that the room is part of the cat's(your's) home

Sometimes you need to have the cat fixed to get it to stop pissing and spraying everywhere.

If she doesn't fall for that her heart is made of stone!

My little female cat doesn't like her claws being cut, and they're always really sharp. I can only make up to four claws at a go, but then she starts hissing and twiggling it's impossible to continue.

you could try using a nail file on her claws (that's what i ended up having to do with my dog because she gets really pissy when her feet are being touched)
they don't seem to mind that as much.
