I was on Xbox Live (headset ftw) and this English dude was going "My name-a Borat!". I told him it's not funny, and he's as bad as the pricks who wear Austin Powers costumes. He then left.
And the other night I was having a beer at work, and a table of guys and girls were all going "Hi-5!" for about an hour, and laughing at how great they are.
So in closing, if you're thinking about wearing a Borat costume to a party, or are constantly using lines from the movie, you're basically doing a modern "Yeah Baby! Grooovy!" and wasting oxygen (with your existence) that we could all put to better use in your absence.
I'm digging a hole here for people to use lines from the movie, I know.

I think Napoleon Dynamite filled the Austin Powers shoes more than Borat. I've heard 100x more people quoting that thing than Borat..

There is a world outside America. And I don't mean that in the obviously shit way people take things on the internet. I mean we have an entirely separate breed of fuckheads who never really latched onto Napoleon Dynamite, but are having a field day with Borat.

I never quote or make references to movies. I DO quote and make references to The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Mystery Science Theater 3000, and can do so till the day I die.

Every time I witness obnoxious Borat-jocking banter, I'm tempted to approach the guilty parties and quote some Bruno lines just to confuse them.

BTW: The oxygen could best be used to diminish the massive fart clouds of our board members. Gawds, stop producing so many gas shits!

i find the difference in the quoting is due to age differences. i'd be willing to say the older folks know the people who quote borat obsessively, while the younger folk know the ND followers. what sucks is when you know the ones in the early 20's that know both.
but ive heard more borat than anything as of late. and i was annoyed with it from the start.
