aside from all the hot sticky expensive grossness/stupid people/lack of toilet paper sometimes, the only really rough thing about festivals is when two or more acts that you really want to see are playing at the same time. i had to run from sigur ros to catch 10 minutes of ladytron last year. :(

Do they have seperate stages? To me, a simple folk, that seems wierd because what happens if two very popular bands are on at once? The crowd would probably be like halfway in between trying to decide.

Aside from the headliners, which are the last show of the night, that IS a problem and one I don't care for... it sucks having to rush and only see partial sets if there are two or more artists playing at the same time... this is a common problem at all festival shows though...

one of my biggest issues I had with Coachella in '03 was the 25 mile long line just to get into the venue... and bands that you may want to see playing and missing them because of the trolls working the entrance area...

Problems: Bands you want to see performing at the sametime and that the sets are only usually an hour long.

It was fun sitting in the grass and listening to the Cure in my right ear and Le Tigre in the left.

I actually don't feel so bad missing it because I could spend the same money on a pretty decent weekend getaway without waiting to leave the parking lot for hours with a bunch of sweaty white people.
