A woman hooked on prescription medication and spending all her money on bingo is compelling television........especially when she pawns her wedding ring for drug money and her husband's name is Harley.

Its pretty crazy. I always find it interesting to call if the person will or will not go to get help and if so, will they stick with it.

Its pretty amazing gambling and pain pills would make someone lose their family. Their child. Its so crazy.

Every time I watch this (which is very rarely) it seems like it always ends with the person breaking down and admitting what a wreck they've made of their life, and heading off to rehab while their family smiles proudly and weeps tears of relief and gratitude, and then the last screen before the credits is "Ashley left rehab after one week and is back to doing heroin every day."

i think the one intervention that really got to me was the former NBA player who got hooked on crack and stole his daughter's birthday presents to sell for more crack. they gave him 2 chances at treatment, even offering treatment for the crack whore he picked up after the first episode.
