Every 3 or 4 years I see a batmobile driving around in the suburbs here. The first was the one from "Batman" with Michael Keaton. Then about 4 years ago, I saw another one that looked like the batmobile from the Batman with Val Kilmer. And then last week I saw the one from the original TV Series with Adam West.
I'm not sure if its the same dude each time or what but its pretty fucking cool/geeky.

Anyone else have (see thread title)?

Nope. No steroidal humvees leaping from roof to roof, neither.

Wait, what? Just in the neighborhood randomly? Is there some crazy rich millionaire who bought it and decides to drive it around Virginia? Hmm.

No sightings here. But my friends did get really drunk and steal a whole bunch of ketchup packets to refill their containers when they were in college. And wouldn't you know it, on the way home they saw the Weinermobile parked in a lot. So... they put two and two together.

I think the Batmobile (TV version) used to tour and open malls and stuff like that.

When I lived in Richmond I did a story about a man in Northern Va that won the batmobile in a contest. Rock, you live on the beltway in Northern Va so that would explain your sightings. It is good to know that he is taking care of the batmobile. I bet the guys at Jiffy Lube love it when he pulls into the lot.
I think he lives in Spotsylvania County.

Aha! That explains one of them.....

Its fucking nuts.

And they weren't actually in a neighborhood but they were on roads that had neighborhoods off of them.

That would have been amazing, like when I met and shook Darth Vader's hand when he came to visit once, well, the actor David Prowse did but he put on his Vader outfit to draw more of a crowd I suppose
