Lately, I've been a little bummed by the fact that I don't really click with the chicks at my new job.

Then today, one of them started talking about how she was going to see some shitty dinner theater performance of Grease tonight and all the others chimed in about how jealous they were that she was able to get tickets.

I then lol'ed in my head and realized I have no reason whatsoever to be buddies with those dorks.

seriously though, that reminds me of some people back at my hometown who would brag about going to tribute band concerts, completely unaware that you just don't go to those, let alone brag about it. and then there's my ex, who was thrilled because she, her roommate, and her roommate's boyfriend were going to see "led zeppelin," and when i told her that led zeppelin in fact no longer existed she told me "that's not possible because i'm going to see them."

and it was a funny story, i was just bored.

hhahahaha omg the older woman i work with was going to a "monsters of rock" concert with a bunch of shitty local rock tribute bands"
but i like her and i can get along with most of the girls, except that one bitch who tried to get me fired.

Shit like that's hilarious to go to if you don't have to pay for it and you're supplied with free beer.

There's nothing funny, however, about Grease at dinner theater. Nothing.

pretty much (y)

I admit, I like watching Grease sometimes. But I wouldn't be hammering over how jealous I was about Grease dinner theater.

I stay away from drama filled females. This is why I only have 2 BFFs and like a million chicks I just hang with. Girls are trouble, espically when they are into Grease.

God, I fucking hate musicals with a passion. Every one of them. And then someone told me to watch Grease. And I hated musicals even more.

But yeah, that's roflz. I'm usually not friends with chicks who aren't mostly guy-like. I have a few girly girl friends but we don't really hang out one-on-one.

I have the feeling that's like quite a few of the chicks on the board, too.

one good thing about chicks that are into theater is that they tend to have lots of gay friends who keep them all sexually frustrated and shit... swoop right in and save the day. one bad thing about chicks that are into theater is that they're into theater.

there's this U2 cover band called Elevation that plays at the beach. they are very enthusiastic and sound pretty much just like U2. I'm LOLing just thinking about them though. they made me want to leave the beach! and these douchey dudes who had been eyeballing bikini girls and making fun of this poor man who came to the beach with his briefcase and stripped down to his boxer briefs after work were all like, "hey bro, wanna move closer to the band so we can hear it better?" and I was like, "OMG, GET DEAD".

I mean, the guy did look pretty funny in his underwear with a briefcase at the beach...but they didn't have to make fun of him so loudly. he actually packed up and left because they were being so mean. :( poor lil joe boxer.

the best part about dinner theater is the dinner, because when you start to get bored, you can poke your food. I went on a field trip to see Hello Dolly once when I was a student-teaching 6th grade. The parents thought I was a student. the waitstaff also thought I was a student. the kids at my table wanted more bread or something and the waitress said, "you'll have to ask your teacher" and I was like, "I AM THE TEACHER!" and she was all, "lol, I thought you were a kid".
