I watched a program on Satanists/Pagens today

And I felt weird because I was compelled by it. Im born a Catholic, but not a practicing one by far. I dont support the Satanist perspective, but Im not going to hate on it either. Im just drawn to people who are diffrent. I've realized that today. In my last couple of schools I've made friends with the outcasts, not because I am one myself (Im always the person whos friends with everyone) but I find the "different" people more intresting. I'd probabley be more likely to befriend a Satanist/Pagen/Wiccian/any of those "outlandish" practices/religions, rather than a Catholic, or people of other religions, because I find the different people intresting.
I wish I did know a Satanist, and not one of those retardo ass goth people that claim thier satanists for attention, or because Marilyn Manson is one, and dumb shit like that, but I wish I knew someone who really knew what they were doing/talking about, because I think it would be intresting. I think it would be intresting to sit down and talk with Allister Crowley and see what he was all about, and go through all of his books and stuff because it would be a learning experiance.

Im not saying I want to FOLLOW either relgions, Im just saying I think it would be intresting to talk to Allister or someone who knows what thier talking about because it's a diffrent way of life. Im not intrested in the relgion, but the dark aspect of it entices me.

I'd have to disagree with you here. I think it's organized religion that's 'complete bullshit'; I consider myself religious, Christian, but I don't follow a specific sect of Christianity, simply because people get tied up in dogma and forget about the purpose of following in Jesus' footsteps. Forgive me if I trample on the rather sensitive toes of the Christian right, but the message of Christianity is to live a life as good as possible by helping out your fellow human beings by any peaceful means necessary.

I don't think I wanna get into my entire theory on religion here, but I don't think it's fair to paint everyone who is religious with a single brush.:)

I know. I always found it Ironic that my uncle is a very VERY devout catholic/baptist/christian (im not sure which) yet he is a HUGE jimmy page/Zep. fan, even though once I went to a Lutheran school, and they told me that even listening to Zep (since Page was a follower of Crowley) was pretty much damning yourself to hell.

I dont know why im so intrested in all of it. I dont wish to persue it, but I find it very intresting... I almost feel bad for being curious because I was raised to think that even considering going to a satanist site/anything like that, Im damned.

weid i was thinking about religion just recently also my friend & i talked about it once & she said that she feels guilty that she finds some stuff in the bible hard to believe so do I. Also my other friend is secretly into Wicca (she's afraid to tell her catholic family). I don't know what I am or am going to be but a Satanist is definitly not something i want to be at all(n)
