I love pow books. I only can get into the non-fiction ones though. I've tried to read fiction Vietnam books and lost all interest in them.
Vietnam was such a real and shitty war, why try to make some bullshit stories about?

I feel yah, Im such a fiction snob, unless its from the classics section I rarely read anything that isnt non-fiction
though a good vietnam book that sorta dances the line between fiction/nonfiction is the 13th valley (http://www.amazon.co.uk/13th-Valley-John-Del-Vecchio/dp/0312200811)
completely awesome book!

You can burn the books in a large trash can under a local bridge.

Or pretend You're Nazi/Commie and books were written by Jews/Burgeois. (n)
I know the feeling of books looking at me and waiting till I read them (or they read me?!). That's letting things we posess posess us:/

The one reason to keep is trying tol impress somebody with your SHELF. :D If you could have some sort of myspace page which automatically lists what you have read, there wouldn't be any more need for the "aaah"-inducing giant shelves. I'm pretty sure I'll never touch more than 95% of my books again after reading them. Except when I move, which sucks!
