...for a week. Isn't that what vegans do? I'm not sure if I could handle that but, I've been tinkering with the idea just because I'm curious. Wait a minute... vegans cook their food too...right? Anyway, anyone got some input?

AFAIK They're called frugans or somesuch.
Don't forget nuts and 'shrooms. It might be a bit harsh on your digestive tracts if you suddenly shift instead of slowly changing your diet... :D

You'd have a whole lot of output if you did that...yuck. Stick with meat and taters...

Really? Actually I thought about doing this a few years ago too if I can remember... Would fruits and vegetables be harsher than foods with chemicals? Or is it just because I'm used to chemicals.....

I'd rather atrribute it too the extra work your stomach has to do to digest it, whether it's been sprayed with chems or not. Better google that stuff. Some of those guys eat only the fruit which fell from the tree. No shaking allowed...

eating raw is difficult. i mean, i eat a lot more fruits and veggies than the average person, but i can't go on a totally raw diet, even though i'd love to. but when i do eat raw for any period of time, i feel really amazing. you have amazing energy - your body might be detoxing for a while at first, and you'll feel like crap then, but afterward you're glowing. read up a little on raw diets if you're interested. it's becoming a pretty huge movement.

I think I might give it a try starting next Monday, I'm really curious about how it would make me feel. Thanks for the info. Open a freakin business already!!! ;)

you've got to really plan it out though. you need variety, and you need to make sure you get enough protein and fat. it's not as easy as it sounds, really. i've tried going raw, and i can never do it for more than a day or two because my schedule just makes it impossible. just make sure you research it and maybe pick up a book on it...there's a really good one that's kind of the bible for raw food "cooking," and it's about $35 hardcover...all i remember was there was a young goodlooking couple on the front.

oh, and someday. my dream is to have a nutritional consulting firm :o

There's a few websites that use nothing but those items...but not for eating so I dunno if that counts
